The present invention relates to a method for preparing protein-polysaccharide dual coated lactic acid bacteria using protein hydrolysates and to lactic acid bacteria having a dual coating prepared by the method. Lactic acid bacteria having a protein-polysaccharide dual coating prepared according to the present invention is very excellent in lyophilized survival, acid resistance, and bile resistance.
