PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical information system connecting a medical diagnosis report creating apparatus with a medical information storing apparatus, allowing an operator to easily recognize a medical image as a basis of an opinion on the medical diagnosis report.
SOLUTION: The medical diagnosis report including character image and link information associated with at least part of the character information for reading the medical image is displayed, and a thumbnail image of the medical image is stored. The thumbnail image of the medical image specified based on the link information included in the displayed medical diagnosis report is read and displayed.
