PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insect trap with which insects, particularly, stinkbugs can be efficiently trapped and with which the stinkbugs once trapped can be caught without fail.SOLUTION: The insect trap includes: an insect trap section 3 which has an outer shell surface 3a formed in a curved surface, provided with transparency or translucency, and set with an entrance 4 for insects on the surface an insect attracting light source 2 which is installed inside the insect trap section 3 and which illuminates the insect trap section 3 from the inside and an insect trap container 8 which is connected to the insect trap section 3.
