A device for estimating a user's body state receives first biometric data obtained by the wearable device from a wearable device worn by the user, and uses a sensor in the device to estimate a body state of the user. The training model may be trained based on an artificial intelligence algorithm by acquiring data and using the received first biometric data and the acquired first sensing data as training data.본 개시는 딥러닝 등의 기계 학습 알고리즘을 활용하여 인간 두뇌의 인지, 판단 등의 기능을 모사하는 인공지능(AI) 시스템 및 그 응용에 관련된 것이다. 사용자의 신체 상태를 추정하는 디바이스는, 사용자가 착용한 웨어러블 디바이스로부터 웨어러블 디바이스에 의해 획득된 제 1 생체 데이터를 수신하고, 디바이스 내의 센서를 이용하여 사용자의 신체 상태를 추정하기 위하여 이용되는 제 1 센싱 데이터를 획득하고, 수신된 제1 생체 데이터 및 획득된 제 1 센싱 데이터를 학습 데이터로 이용하여, 사용자의 신체 상태를 추정하기 위한 학습 모델을 인공 지능 알고리즘에 기초하여 학습시킬 수 있다.
