PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article whose worn state is arbitrary chosen between a worn state "without wings" and a worn state "with wings" and which is easily worn and reliably prevents lateral leakage.SOLUTION: In a sanitary napkin 1, three-dimensional gathers BS raised on a skin side are respectively formed on both side parts on a skin contact surface side of a body part in which an absorber 4 is interposed between a liquid permeable surface sheet 3 and a back surface sheet 2, and wing-shaped flaps W which extend outward and have a wing slippage preventing adhesive layer 10 on a surface on the side of the back surface sheet 2 are respectively formed on both side parts of the body part. A peeling function sheet 11 in which peeling processing is performed on an exposed surface side is joined to an outer surface side of the three-dimensional gather BS.
