PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma treatment method for simultaneously sterilizing the inner and outer surfaces of a plastic container by plasma.SOLUTION: The plastic container 5 surrounded by a high frequency induction coil 21 is held within a plasma treatment chamber 1, a gas supply pipe 13 is inserted in the plastic container 5 held within the chamber 1 and the chamber 1 is evacuated while supplying a gas into the chamber 1 from the gas supply pipe 13 to hold the interior of the chamber 1 to a predetermined degree of vacuum while allowing the gas to flow along the outer surface of the container 5 from the inner surface thereof.
