PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positioning device which contributes to precise brain magnetic field measurement by making movement of a subjects seat safe and flexible without giving psychological burden to a subject surrounded by a magnetic shield body in an almost cylindrical shape in brain magnetic field measuring equipment.SOLUTION: The device is for positioning for brain magnetic field measurement by moving the subject in an almost axial direction of a magnetic shield body in an almost cylindrical shape in the brain magnetic field measuring equipment and is provided with: a vertical drive mechanism which stands in an almost vertical direction and vertically moves an object to be supported a base which is supported by the vertical drive mechanism via a linear guide and vertically moved a seat part which is supported by the base via the linear guide and moved in an almost horizontal direction a tilt pole which is tilted at a prescribed angle against the vertical drive mechanism and a tilt movement guide part which is supported by the tilt pole via the linear guide and joined to the seat part as well.
