PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide instruments, artificial intervertebral disks and insert plates capable of accurately, easily and efficiently implanting an artificial intervertebral disk for the cervical spine.SOLUTION: An artificial intervertebral disk for replacing a plurality of portions of two or more intervertebral disks comprises: a first member including a first flange having through-holes that receive bone screws for fixing the first member in a first vertebra contact surface and a first vertebra, and a fastener hole and a first intermediate member having a first intermediate vertebra contact surface and a first intermediate flange, the first intermediate member connecting the first intermediate vertebra contact surface to a terminal plate of an intermediate vertebra adjacent the first vertebra.
