The invention relates to medicine, in particular to ophthalmology, and is intended for the treatment of degenerative disorders of the cornea such as keratoconus and other keratectasias. One of the aspects of the invention is a drug for the treatment of keratoconus and other degenerative diseases of the cornea, which drug comprises, as active ingredient, an effective quantity of amine with functional groups in salt form or in the composition of a complex compound of a transition metal or mixtures thereof. Other aspects of the present invention comprise pharmaceutical preparations in which said drug is used, namely: 1) a pharmaceutical preparation which comprises an aqueous solution of a drug intended for administration into the conjunctival sac by means of installation 2) a pharmaceutical preparation in the form of an eye gel containing, in its composition, a drug intended for insertion behind the lower eyelid 3) a pharmaceutical preparation in the form of a medicinal film which contains, in its composition, a drug intended for insertion behind the lower eyelid 4) a pharmaceutical preparation in the form of medicinal contact lenses which contain, in their composition, a drug which is intended to be placed on the surface of the cornea.La présente invention concerne le domaine de la médecine et plus particulièrement lophtalmologie elle vise à soigner des maladies pernicieuses de la cornée telles que le kératocône et dautres kératectasies. Dans lun des aspects, linvention porte sur un médicament destiné au traitement du kératocône et dautres maladies pernicieuses et comprend en tant que principe actif une quantité efficace damine avec des fonctions sous forme de sel ou dans la composition dun composé complexe de métal de transition, ou leurs mélanges.
