PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antibacterial composition having excellent antibacterial activity, exhibiting excellent mixing ability and stability in preparation, little irritating skin, and hardly affecting DNA and a low skin-irritant safe cosmetic exhibiting sufficient antiseptic effect without using antibacterial agents and antiseptic agents, which are generally used in conventional cosmetics, by using the antibacterial composition.SOLUTION: The cosmetic includes as antibacterial components: (A) 0.003-0.06 wt.% of a Citrus paradisi seed extract and (B) 0.1-1.0 wt.% of 3-(2-ethylhexyloxy)propane-1,2-diol based on the total quantity of the cosmetic.
