PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stand-up assistance chair capable of assisting pushing-up force for elevating and lowering a seat and freely adjusting the pushing-up force by little adjustment.SOLUTION: An elevating/lowering metal fitting is attached so as to be elevated and lowered respectively to a pair of elevating/lowering guide rails vertically erected on the back surface side of a base of a chair, and a seat is attached to the elevating/lowering metal fitting. The chair has a link structure comprising an arm receiving metal fitting disposed to the elevating/lowering metal fitting, a freely turnable arm engaged with the arm receiving metal fitting, and a biasing mechanism which is attached to turn the arm and is elastically extended and contracted in an axial direction. The biasing mechanism has biasing force in the direction of pushing up the seat at a seated position and a means is adopted to elevate and lower the elevating/lowering metal fitting to which the arm receiving metal fitting is disposed by the elevating/lowering mechanism of the link structure and elastically elevate and lower the seat attached thereto accompanying the elevating and lowering of the elevating/lowering metal fitting.
