PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorant excelling in deodorizing effect and immediate effect.SOLUTION: A deodorant contains a component (A): a compound represented by the following general formula (a1) and a component (B): a silicone compound. [In formula (a1), n is an integer of 2-6, Ris 8-18C alkyl, Ris a hydrogen atom, a 8-18C alkyl, or (CH)NH, and m is an integer of 2-6.] The mass ratio represented by the component (A)/component (B) is preferably 0.002-500. Furthermore, the deodorant preferably contains a component (C): at least one kind selected from urea, double salt of urea, and a derivative of urea.
