METHOD OF DETERMINING EYE FUNDUS CONDITION IN PATIENTS WITH TYPE 2 DIABETES MELLITUS IN CASE OF DIABETIC RETINOPATHY, COMBINED WITH AGE-RELATED MACULAR DEGENERATION
FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: morphological changes of patients retina and degree of changes of thresholds of macular zone (MZ) light sensitivity, level of glycosylated haemoglobin (G) in patients blood plasma, levels of vascular endothelium growth factor (VEGF) and monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 (MCP-1) in lacrimal fluid are determined. On this basis obtained are criteria R-R, differentially determining patients eye fundus condition, where Rcharacterises expression of oedema on retina volume, R-degree of change of thresholds of MZ light sensitivity, taking into account light stimulus intensity, R- interaction between retina changes and degree of DM compensation, characterised by blood G level, R- interaction between retina changes and VEGF level in lacrimal fluid, R- interaction between retina changes and MCP-1 level in lacrimal fluid. Virtual areas of parameters of normal eye fundus condition for groups of criteria: R, R, R, Rand R, R, R, Rare formed by preliminarily determined values of criteria R-R, corresponding to normal eye fundus condition. Values of the same criteria, obtained from the patient, are used to build regression lines for the same groups of criteria: R, R, R, Rand R, R, R, R, characterising current condition of patients eye fundus. After that, respective formed areas of existing of normal eye fundus condition parameters and regression lines of current condition of patients eye fundus are superposed. By the data of position of points of crossing of respective formed areas and regression lines criteria Rand Rare determined. After that criterion Ris calculated by formula R= ?A, where A = R?+ R?IfRis< 0.5, condition of eye fundus is estimated as unsatisfactory and requiring medicinal procedures. If Ris > 0.5, eye fundus condition is considered to be satisfactory.EFFECT: objective complex diagnostic approach, taking into account interaction of morphological, clinical-and-functional and biochemical indices, accurate estimation of eye fundus condition
