The present invention relates to a method for decreasing the growth of a Mycobacterium tuberculosis mycobacterium strain in eukaryotic cells by adding and expressing in said mycobacterium an mspA gene encoding a porin A of Mycobacterium smegmatis, as well as a strain thus transformed useful for the manufacture of a vaccine for the prevention of infection by a bacterium of the Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex in a host comprising said eukaryotic cells, preferably macrophages.La présente invention concerne une méthode pour diminuer la croissance d'une souche d'une mycobactérie du complexe Mycobacterium tuberculosis dans des cellules eucaryotes, par ajout et expression dans ladite mycobactérie d'un gène mspA codant pour une porine A de Mycobacterium smegmatis, ainsi qu'une souche ainsi transformée utile pour la fabrication d'un vaccin pour la prévention d'une infection par une bactérie du complexe Mycobacterium tuberculosis chez un hôte comprenant desdites cellules eucaryotes, de préférence des macrophages.
