PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more efficiently and effectively use a hook tape.SOLUTION: A fastening tape 130 includes: a base-material tape member 131 a pair of hook-tape members 132 and 133 provided adjacently around the waistline on the base material tape member 131 and a continuous hook tape area including the pair of hook tape members 132 and 133. In each of the pair of hook tape members 132 and 133, one side edge s in the waistline direction of the girth is formed in a straight line along the longitudinal direction orthogonal to the waistline direction, and the other side edge w in the waistline direction is formed in a wavy shape displaced in the waistline direction and extending along the longitudinal direction. The hook tape members 132 and 133 are arranged so that the linear side edges s are joined to each other. The side edges of both sides around the waistline in the hook tape area have the wavy side edges w. The wavy side edges w are formed so as to have the same periodicity and to be linearly symmetrical with respect to the positions of the linear side edge s.
