PURPOSE: A toothpaste composition and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to ensure anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties and to prevent dental caries.CONSTITUTION: A toothpaste composition using Nelumbo nucifera extract contains 0.01-5.0 wt% of Nelumbo nucifera extract of oil or powder.
