Device for distributing a flowable substance, preferably a food product, having at least one metering element, having metering channels, which latter can be brought into fluidic connection, on one hand, with a substance container and, on other hand, with a substance destination. Device also includes at least one main element with a cavity, configured for fluidic connection through inlet holes with substance container and through outlet holes with substance destination in zone of main element, wherein inlet holes and outlet holes are located along direction of dispensing at a certain distance from each other in main element. Metering element, particularly rotary slive valve, can move between a first position, where metering channels are fluidically connected with inlet holes, and a second position, where metering channels are fluidically connected with outlet holes.
