A method for producing a soy protein product containing soy protein, at least 60% (N × 6,25), based on the dry weight, which comprises: (a) is extracted soy protein source with an aqueous calcium salt solution to the conditioning solubilized soy protein from the protein source and form an aqueous solution of soy protein (b) separating the aqueous solution from the residual soy protein source soy protein (c) concentrated aqueous solution of soybean protein using a selective membrane tehnologo ogy while maintaining the ionic strength substantially constant (d) optionally diafiltered concentrated solution of soy protein (e) if necessary, dried concentrated and, if necessary subjected to diafiltration soy protein solution, characterized in that: (A) an aqueous soybean protein solution obtained in step (b), subjected to heat treatment to precipitate therefrom soy protein and either (i) all of the heated solution is dried to obtain a soy protein product, or (ii) isolated soy precipitated vy protein from heated solution and drying the recovered precipitate to obtain a soy protein product, or (B) the concentrated and heat-treated to precipitate therefrom soy protein and either (i) if necessary subjected to diafiltration solution of soybean protein of step (d) is dried all the heated solution to produce a soy protein product, or (ii) precipitated soy protein is isolated from the heated solution and the recovered precipitate is dried to obtain a soy protein product, or (C) and concentrated under Requires1.
