PURPOSE: Light illuminating system and method are provided to prevent the disturbance of a light illuminating unit with respect to the path of beam by arranging the light illuminating unit at the outer lateral side of a nozzle in a driving unit.CONSTITUTION: A light illuminating system(10) is used as an analyzing unit for measuring the ocular pressure of eyes. The analyzing unit includes a driving unit(11) which applies air puff changing cornea(14) to the optical axis(15) of eyes. A light illuminating system illuminates light to the cornea based on slit light. The light illuminating system includes at least one light illuminating unit(23) which matches a partial image(27) and the optical axis on a light illuminated plane.
