PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an easy change of a length of a handle arm without using a tool, in a fishing reel.SOLUTION: A double bearing reel 100 includes a handle assembly 2, a handle shaft 6, and a handle length adjustment mechanism 8. A handle arm 26 of the handle assembly 2 extends in a long direction from a first end 26a to a second end 26b, and has an elongate hole 26c on the first end side. The handle shaft 6 has an engagement part 30 integrally rotatably engaging with the elongate hole 26c and allowing movement of the handle arm 26 in the long direction of the elongate hole 26c. The handle length adjustment mechanism 8 has a mounting part 40 and a lever member 42. The mounting part 40 is formed in the engagement part 30.
