PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and attractively produce a multicolor cosmetic having complicate patterns made by combining stacked patterns lengthwise and breadthwise.SOLUTION: A stacked body 5 of solid cosmetics is formed by combining a plurality of platy solid cosmetics 2a, 3a different in color tone lengthwise and breadthwise and stacking. The stacked body 5 formed of lengthwise and breadthwise stacked patterns is rotated so that their tip end surfaces are directed upward, and the stacked body 5 is housed in a cosmetic plate 4.
