PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antiviral property-having fiber obtained by modifying an acrylic fiber, and to provide a fiber structure containing the fibers.SOLUTION: The antiviral fiber is obtained by treating an acrylic fiber with an amino group-containing organic compound having a structure which has totally three or more amino groups in one molecule and has two or more primary amino groups, and in which the amino groups are bound to each other with alkylene groups, thereby simultaneously introducing cross-linking structures and the amino groups into the fiber. Especially an excellent effect is expressed, when the amino group-containing organic compound has a structure in which amino groups are bound to each other with alkylene groups each having three or more carbons and has tertiary amino groups.COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT【課題】本発明の目的は、アクリル系繊維を改質して得られる抗ウイルス性を有する繊維および該繊維を含む繊維構造物を提供することにある。【解決手段】本発明の目的は、アクリル系繊維を1分子中の全アミノ基数が3以上であり、かつ、1級アミノ基数が2以上であって、アミノ基間をアルキレン基で結合した構造を有するアミノ基含有有機化合物で処理することによって繊維中に架橋構造とアミノ基を同時に導入して得られる抗ウイルス用繊維により達成され、とりわけ、アミノ基含有有機化合物が、アミノ基間を炭素数が3以上のアルキレン基で結合した構造および3級アミノ基を有する場合に優れた効果が発現される。【選択図】なし
