The system has a medical work station (5) detecting physiological data of a patient (4), and comprising a respiration device (43) with a connector (49) such as universal serial bus connector, for a respiration tube (53). The station has a radio frequency detecting device (45) that detects a radio frequency marker, with marking information, within an area of the connector. The marker is connected with the respiration tube, and a marking signal representing the marking information is generated. The system allocates physiological data and patient data to one another based on the marking signal.
