The present invention relates to a system of two liquid components which are separately and stably kept for a long time, and designed to produce extemporaneously, when mixed together, an aqueous or hydroalcoholic solution of a concentrated or dilute organic peroxyacid, the system including a lipophilic component and a hydrophilic component, with the lipophilic component including at least one donor of at least one acetyl group, whereas the hydrophilic component includes an aqueous or hydroalcoholic solution at acidic pH containing an oxygen donor, the lipophilic component comprising at least one pH regulator/raiser including at least one aliphatic amine with weak or no nucleophilic character and free from nucleophilic functional groups, the aliphatic amine acting as pH raiser/regulator at the time of mixing together the two hydrophilic and lipophilic components, thereby making it possible to obtain a fast and efficient production of peracetic acid.
