The present invention relates to a post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) animal model with damage or deficiency of dopamine receptor type 4, a method for preparing the same, a method for screening a PTSD treatment drug using the same, and a pharmaceutical composition for treating PTSD comprising a drug detected by the same screening method. According to the present invention, as it is identified that a certain type of a dopamine receptor is associated with a mechanism for expression of fear memory induced by long-term depression, the understanding of pathogenesis of PTSD can be heightened. In addition, the animal model exhibiting similar clinical conditions of PTSD and the method for preparing the same can be applied to analysis for stability and effectiveness of a PTSD therapeutic agent and screening of the therapeutic drug. In addition, an agonist of the dopamine receptor type 4 of the present invention has already been approved by the U.S. FDA and clinically used for psychiatric diseases such as schizophrenia and thus can be applied to for clinical applications for symptoms of PTSD in a rapid manner.본 발명은 도파민 수용체 타입 4가 손상 또는 결핍된, 외상후 스트레스 장애(PTSD) 질환 동물모델, 이의 제조방법, 이를 이용한 PTSD 치료약물 스크리닝 방법, 이 스크리닝 방법에 의해 탐색된 약물을 포함하는 PTSD 치료용 약학 조성물에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 의하면, 장기 시냅스 저하에 의한 공포 기억 발현 메커니즘에서 특정 타입의 도파민 수용체가 관련 있음을 밝힘으로서, 외상후 스트레스 장애(PTSD) 질환의 발병 기전에 대한 이해를 높일 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 외상후 스트레스 장애 질환의 임상상황과 유사한 동물모델 및 그 제조방법을 제공함으로써, PTSD 질환 치료제의 안전성과 유효성 분석, 치료약물의 스크리닝에 적용할 수 있다. 또한, 본 발명의 도파민 수용체 타입 4(D4R)의 작용제(agonist)에 의하면, 이미 미국 FDA의 승인을 받아 조현병 등의 정신질환에 임상적으로 사용되고 있으므로, 외상 후 스트레스 증상에 임상적으로 신속한 적용이 가능하다.
