PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waveform measurement device, when it is determined that an analog input signal has halted, forcibly updating arithmetic data by providing a real-time arithmetic function with waveform halt prediction capability, and providing a real time arithmetic result close to actual motion.SOLUTION: The waveform measurement device with a real-time arithmetic function includes; an A/D converter for converting an analog input signal into a digital signal; an edge detection unit which outputs an edge detection signal by detecting zero-crossings of any of rising edges and falling edges of the analog input signal; an input halt prediction unit which predicts halting of the analog input signal on the basis of the output signal from the edge detection unit; and an arithmetic unit which performs predetermined operations on the basis of an output signal from the A/D converter using the output signal from the edge detection unit as an arithmetic timing signal.
