PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods and apparatus for detecting a body fluid.SOLUTION: A health monitoring apparatus: receives data related to a monitored analyte level from an analyte sensor transcutaneously positioned under a skin layer of a subject； stores a plurality of data from the analyte sensor in a memory； detects that a user requests to transfer the data； retrieves the stored multiple pieces of data from the memory； and, upon receiving the user's transfer request, transmits the retrieved data to a blood glucose meter. The analyte sensor is calibrated at a plant.
