PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide excellent emulsified type hair dye compositions which have high hair dyeing ability and low skin dyeing properties and which are excellent in no-damaged hair, in no-unevenly colored hair, and in suppression effect in fading against a shampoo.SOLUTION: An emulsified type hair dye composition contains (A) arginine, (B) an N-acylamino acid diester compound, (C) a basic dye, (D) a cationic surfactant, and (E) an alcohol having 12 or more carbon atoms.
