Provided is a hand piece for a laser treatment device that is capable of suppressing temperature increases in living tissue, which exists on a path from an irradiation part to a target site, to a greater extent than the prior art. The hand piece (10) is provided with: an optical fiber (16) that guides a laser beam emitted from a pulse light source; and a rotating holding part (32) which is tilted with respect to an axis of rotation (C0) in such a manner that the optical axis (C1) of the laser beam faces a target point (P) disposed on the axis of rotation (C0), and holds the leading end (64) of the optical fiber (16), and which rotates the leading end (64) of the optical fiber (16) around the axis of rotation (C0). The number of pulses of the pulse light source and the number of rotations of the leading end (64) of the optical fiber are established in such a manner that the number of pulses per unit time of the pulse light source does not become an integral multiple of the number of rotations of the leading end (64) of the optical fiber (16) per said unit time.
