An aerosolizable powder 120 and a second powder 130 to mechanically break or loosen aerosol particles from the aerosolizable powder are provided in the cavity. Thus, a small, lightweight, simple, sealed and stable device without complex moving parts, external power sources or heat is provided to aerosolize powder into aerosol particles for transmucosal delivery into a mouth upon inhalation.
