An artificial intervertebral disc, intended for implantation between adjacent upper and lower vertebrae in a spine, comprising: - an upper flap and a lower flap device delimiting the upper and lower flaps - the upper and lower flaps are movable relative to each other by articulation surfaces - lower flap has an upper surface including at the rear part of a convex portion - the upper wing has a lower surface opposed to the upper surface of said lower th sash and comprising at the rear part of the concave portion, opposite said convex portion, - a convex and concave portions are hinged interaction and form the articulation, - at least one of the convex or concave portion is provided with at least one " male "element, and the other of the convex or concave portion is provided with a corresponding number of interacting with them" female "elements for receiving and engaging at least one" male "elementom.2.
