PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diagnostic imaging system capable of easily positioning and fixation of a top plate and improving its convenience, which requires no rail to be mounted on the floor, and to provide a diagnostic imaging method.SOLUTION: The diagnostic imaging system adjusts a position of the top plate put on a temporary position on a surgical base table and moves a stand located off the top plate with an opening to a top plate side so that the top plate comes into the opening of the stand to photograph a subject on the top plate.
