A fastener for a disposable absorbent article, having a fixed portion attachable to the article, a connective portion joined to and contiguous with the fixed portion, and a folding line disposed between the fixed and connective portions. The fastener may be free of a release tape. The fastener may further comprise an adhesive disposed upon a surface of the fixed portion of the fastener being attached to the article, the adhesive being offset from each of the edges of the fixed portion including the edge formed by the folding line, the dimensions of the offsets being defined herein. The adhesive may be applied during the assembly of the absorbent article on a converting line.La présente invention concerne une fixation pour un article absorbant jetable, ayant une partie fixe attachable à larticle, une partie de raccordement assemblée avec et contiguë à la partie fixe, et une ligne de pliage disposée entre les parties fixe et de raccordement. La fixation peut être dépourvue de bande de séparation. La fixation peut comprendre en outre un adhésif disposé sur une surface de la partie fixe de la fixation étant attachée à larticle, ladhésif étant décalé par rapport à chacun des bords de la partie fixe comprenant le bord formé par la ligne de pliage, les dimensions des décalages étant définies dans la description. Ladhésif peut être appliqué pendant lassemblage de larticle absorbant sur une ligne de transformation.
