The present invention relates to a method for the diagnosis or the prognosis of metastasis in lung cancer which comprises determining if the c-MAF gene is amplified in a primary tumor sample. Likewise, the invention also relates to a method for the diagnosis or the prognosis of metastasis in lung cancer, as well as to a method for determining the tendency to develop bone metastasis with respect to metastasis in other organs, which comprise determining the c-MAF gene expression level. Finally, the invention relates to the use of a c-MAF inhibitor as therapeutic target for treating the lung cancer.본 발명은 c-MAF 유전자가 일차 종양 샘플에서 증폭되어 있는지를 확인하는 단계를 포함하는, 폐암에서 전이를 진단하거나 예후하는 방법에 관한 것이다. 또한, 본 발명은 폐암에서 전이를 진단하거나 예후하는 방법뿐만 아니라, c-MAF 유전자 발현 수준을 측정하는 단계를 포함하는, 다른 장기에서의 전이에 비해 골 전이를 발생시킬 경향을 측정하는 방법에 관한 것이다. 마지막으로, 본 발명은 폐암을 치료하기 위한 치료 표적으로서 c-MAF 억제제의 용도에 관한 것이다.
