Disclosed herein is a method for evaluating the competence for transplantation of a graft sample containing cells capable of multinucleation, the method including determination of multinucleating ability as an indicator representing the capacity for multinucleation of the cells capable of multinucleation. Disclosed also herein is a system for evaluation by the method mentioned above.
