PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily fasten a bone prosthetic material to an autologous bone by previously, extracorporeally passing sutures through the bone prosthetic material.
SOLUTION: This suture instrument 1 for bone transplantation includes the sutures 1a and 1b consisting of a plurality of biocompatible materials, wherein the sutures 1a and 1b are formed with two joined portions 1c formed by being partially joined together at positions spaced in the longitudinal direction. Therefore, after one joined portion 1c is extracorporeally passed through a through-hole of the bone prosthetic material, the joined portions 1c disposed on both sides of the bone prosthetic material are passed through the respective through-holes of the dissected autologous bone from a dissection face, so as to pass the sutures 1a and 1b through the through-holes of the autologous bone without swelling the sutures 1a and 1b and also dispense with work for passing the sutures 1a and 1b through the through-holes while positioning the through-holes of the bone prosthetic material and the through-holes of the autologous bone in the body.
