The connecting parts of the link parts and the band parts are < or >-shaped.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013본 발명은 뇌혈관질환 중 동맥류(Aneurysm)의 치료를 위하여 원주방향으로 팽창가능한 스텐트로서, 상기 스텐트의 원주 방향으로의 팽창 후, 상기 스텐트의 길이방향을 따라 물결 형상을 이루도록 굴곡되어 형성된 복수의 링크부와, 상기 복수의 링크부 중 서로 인접한 링크부 사이의 중앙에 배치되어 연결되며 원주 방향으로 팽창 가능한 복수의 밴드부를 포함하여 구성되며, 상기 링크부와 상기 밴드부는 일체로 형성되고, 상기 링크부와 상기 밴드부의 연결부분은 < 또는 > 자 형상을 이루도록 형성되며, 상기 밴드부는 팽창 후 > 자 형상을 이루도록 형성되는 것을 특징으로 한다.본 발명에 의하면, 고유연성(high flexibility)과, 뇌혈관(neurovasculature)에 장착된 후 충분한 공간(lumen)을 확보할 수 있는 능력(scaffolding)을 갖기 위한 충분한 반경 방향 강도(radial strength)을 가지며, 코일이 셀 사이로 빠져 나오지 않으며, 코일용 마이크로 카테타의 셀 사이로의 삽입이 가능한 적절한 셀의 크기를 가지므로, 혈관에 삽입되어 정상적인 혈류의 흐름을 유지함과 동시에, 동맥류 치료를 위한 색전술용 코일을 삽입하는 경우, 코일이 모동맥 혈관 밖으로 빠져 나오는 것을 차단하는 효과를 갖는다.
