To provide an image diagnosis catheter capable of inhibiting a reflection coat of a light transmission/reception part from peeling off.SOLUTION: An image diagnosis catheter 100 includes a long-sized sheath 110 equipped with a lumen 110a, a rotatable drive shaft 140 arranged in the lumen of the sheath, a housing 146 arranged at the tip of the drive shaft, and a light transmission/reception part 145b and an ultrasonic transmission/reception part 145a held in the housing. The light transmission/reception part is provided with a plane surface 145c having a reflection coat for reflecting a light propagating in an axial direction of the drive shaft, and a center position of the light transmission/reception part is arranged at a position away from a center position of the drive shaft on a cross section orthogonal to the axial direction of the drive shaft.
