PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray CT apparatus capable of reducing changes of an image quality level of image data of respective parts of a subject.SOLUTION: An X-ray CT apparatus includes: an X-ray tube 60 for generating X-rays； respective first-fourth wedge filters 71-74 for attenuating the X-rays from the X-ray tube 60 at an irradiation position R； a filter drive part 75 for moving the first-fourth wedge filters 71-74； an X-ray detector 22 for detecting the X-rays transmitted through a subject P irradiated with the X-rays transmitted through the respective first-fourth wedge filters 71-74 at an irradiation position R and mounted on a top plate 11； and an image processing part for generating image data on the basis of signals detected by the X-ray detector 22. The filter drive part 75 moves the filter, corresponding to the part of the subject P to be irradiated with the X-rays among the first-fourth wedge filters 71-74, to the irradiation position R during movement in the longitudinal direction of the top plate 11.【課題】被検体の各部位の画像データの画質レベルの変化を低減することができるＸ線ＣＴ装置を提供する。【解決手段】Ｘ線を発生するＸ線管６０と、Ｘ線管６０からのＸ線を照射位置Ｒで減衰させる各第１乃至第４のウェッジフィルタ７１乃至７４と、第１乃至第４のウェッジフィルタ７１乃至７４を移動するフィルタ駆動部７５と、照射位置Ｒの各第１乃至第４のウェッジフィルタ７１乃至７４を透過したＸ線により照射され、天板１１上に載置される被検体Ｐを透過したＸ線を検出するＸ線検出器２２と、Ｘ線検出器２２により検出された信号に基づき画像データを生成する画像処理部とを備え、フィルタ駆動部７５は、天板１１の長手方向への移動中に、第１乃至第４のウェッジフィルタ７１乃至７４のうち、Ｘ線を照射する被検体Ｐの部位に応じたフィルタを、照射位置Ｒへ移動する。【選択図】図２
