PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water disinfection device of a rice seed which is able to aim at large shortening of working priming ready time of hot water disinfection of the rice seed even if the capacity of a hot water tank is greater, which is able to aim at improvement in energy efficiency for obtaining hot water and which is able to act convenient even in a cold region. SOLUTION: The hot water disinfection device 1 of the rice seed comprises a hot water tank 2 for immersing the rice seed in hot water, a gas fired hot-water supply machine 23 which is filled with hot water of a predetermined temperature on the hot water tank before hot water disinfection working priming of the rice seed, and a hot water controlling machine 3 which holds the hot water at a set temperature while circulating the hot water in the hot water tank 2 between the hot water tanks 2. The gas fired hot-water supply machine 23 and the hot water controlling machine 3 are put side by side on the hot water tank 2 as a unit of one piece. An open air input aperture 28 is formed in a section which starts above the hot water tank 2 in a hot water sending vessel 12 which sends out the hot water to the hot water tank 2 from the hot water controlling machine 3.
