PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve general-purpose properties of a bathing apparatus capable of being suitably used by a care-receiver, an aged person and the like.SOLUTION: A bathing apparatus includes a bathtub 10 that has a hot water storage part 11 and a flange part 12 overhanging outward from an opening edge of the hot water storage part 11, and a lifting and lowering mechanism 20 for lifting and lowering a seating face part 41 capable of being provided within the hot water storage part 11.
