PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic stethoscope which is excellent in convenience while enabling practical use in normal auscultation and electronic auscultation.SOLUTION: An electronic stethoscope 1A includes a chest piece 10, a rubber tube 30, an auditory tube 40, ear pieces 50a, 50b and a microphone 100 which converts sound into an electric signal, and enables electronic auscultation by converting auscultatory sound detected by the chest piece 10 into the electric signal by the microphone 100 and transmitting the signal to reproduction means which reproduces the signal as auscultatory sound or a waveform chart of the auscultatory sound. The electronic stethoscope becomes a state in which normal auscultation can be performed by communicating an air transmission route from the chest piece 10 to the ear pieces 50a, 50b, and can be switched between the state in which the normal auscultation is performed and a state in which electronic auscultation is performed with the rotation of a switch body 21. In the electronic stethoscope, part of the air transmission route is split or cut off with the operation for switching from the normal auscultation state to the electronic auscultation state.
