The suspension (10) has a housing (12) with an interior portion supporting axle carriers (15, 16) about pivotal axes. The carriers comprise outwardly extending members (18, 20) extending to opposite sides of the housing in the direction of wheel axes. Upright members (22, 24) are fixed to the extending members for pivoting about the pivotal axes. A connector i.e. connecting strut (46), is connected to the upright members at a location offset radially from the pivotal axes. The connector constrains the carriers for rotation in the direction about the pivotal axes.
