PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope device capable of preventing reduction in measurement accuracy, a control method of an endoscope device, and a program.SOLUTION: A tip part 21 includes a switching part 25 which switches optical paths such that only one of the two images to be formed at a region S1 with an optical system is formed, and an imaging device 22 which creates a first picture based on a first image formed at the region S1 and a second picture based on a second image formed at the region S1. A control part 30 allows the imaging device 22 to create a plurality of the first pictures, determines whether a blur is present or not based on the first pictures, and then allows the imaging device 22 to create a second picture. Subsequently, the control part 30 allows the imaging device 22 to create a first picture and determines whether a blur is present or not based on the first pictures created before and after the creation of the second picture. The control part 30 allows a measurement part 31 to measure, in the case that no blur is determined to be present through the first and the second determination whether a blur is present or not.
