PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel art improving image quality of an imaging region apart from a magnetic field center in MRI.SOLUTION: An MRI apparatus includes an input part and an imaging condition setting part. The input part receives input of a pulse sequence condition of magnetic resonance imaging. The imaging condition setting part determines a pulse sequence condition after changing the pulse sequence condition so as to approximate the amplitude of a first gradient field pulse in a slice selection direction applied at the same time as an excitation RF pulse, and the amplitude of a second gradient field pulse in a slice selection direction applied at the same time as a re-convergence RF pulse to each other in response to a positional relation between the imaging region and the magnetic field center, after setting the pulse sequence condition in accordance with the condition input via the input part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
