The present invention relates to an aspherical intraocular lens (IOL). The surface shape of an anterior surface of an effective optical area of the aspherical intraocular lens is aspherical, or the surface shape of a posterior surface of an effective optical area of the aspherical intraocular lens is aspherical, or the surface shapes of an anterior surface and a posterior surface of an effective optical area of the aspherical intraocular lens are aspherical. The spherical aberration of the aspherical intraocular lens of the present invention ranges from -0.28µm to -0.55µm. Compared with the aspherical IOLs on the market, the new-type aspherical IOL of the present invention can correct a greater cornea spherical aberration so that the cataract patient enjoys better visual quality.
