The support device includes a backing layer, a buffering element, and a base layer. The backing layer includes a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface, wherein the backing layer is high vapor permeability and the first surface of the backing layer is liquid water impermeable. The buffer element is positioned adjacent the second surface of the backing layer. The base layer includes a first surface adjacent the buffer element and a second surface opposite the first surface of the buffer element. The base layer is high vapor permeability. The base layer is completely continuous. The second surface of the base layer comprises an adhesive.
