PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a living tissue closing device permitting smooth, safe and secure procedure by simplifying the structure of a hand controlling portion.
SOLUTION: The living tissue closing device is inserted into a living body with a clamping means K, which includes a puncture portion 2 for puncturing the periphery of the deficiency in the living tissue M and a clamping member 1 for holding the living tissue in collaboration with the puncture portion 2, stored in a catheter 30, and electric power is distributed to the living tissue closing device while the living tissue M is clamped by the clamping means K to fuse and close the deficiency. The living tissue closing device is provided with a power distribution preventing means T which prevents power distribution via blood between a terminal 23 for the puncture portion 2 and a terminal 24 for the clamping member 1 if there is blood to be fed to the hand controlling portion 70 of the catheter 30.
