PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nurse call system that allows easily dealing with changes in hospital layout and understanding information about calling locations and patients.SOLUTION: A slave nurse call machine 1 and a master nurse call machine 2 have a slave machine interface 10 and a master machine interface 20, respectively, which communicate with each other via a power line 7. A power receptacle device 4 to which the slave nurse call machine 1 is connected includes a receptacle storage unit 44 for storing its own ID, and a receptacle CPU 45 which, upon receiving a call signal from the slave nurse call machine 1 connected, adds its own ID information to the call signal and sends the signal to the master nurse call machine 2.
