PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agent for alleviating side effects of a steroid drug containing a new active ingredient excellent in an effect for alleviating the side effects of the steroid drug.SOLUTION: A pine bark extract is used as an active ingredient of an agent for alleviating side effects of a steroid drug. The pine bark extract is preferably derived from French maritime pine (Pinus Martima). The agent for alleviating side effects of the steroid drug is suitably used especially for alleviating a vascular injury caused by administration of a steroid drug.
